FCI interest group
We have a lively and active Faith-Consistent Investing (FCI) Interest Group that meets online every quarter to discuss issues facing faith-based asset owners. These are short (45 minute), focused and solutions-oriented meetings that are open to subscribers to our network.
Our next meetings are:
Thursday, 7 September: We'll be unveiling research from our latest study on grant investment alternatives for faiths, with a focus on the use of non-aid financial instruments.
Thursday, 7 December: We'll focus on FCI governance with the launch of a new paper on the subject that includes commentary from a prominent UK Methodist organisation.

FCI & SMALLER ORGS
This March 2023 paper explores challenges faced by smaller faith organisations where limited resources are stretched in creating customised investment programmes reflecting a faith’s values.
Our April 2022 Good Intentions paper Is the first in-depth, multi-faith analysis to take a deep dive into publicly available faith investment policies and guidelines, and assess how far they align to faith values
Our February 2022 Roadmap discusses three key topics for faith-based investors: understanding alignment versus Impact, private markets for impact investing, and tradeoffs between impact and investment outcomes.
The Faith Values to Investment guide, pubished in September 2021, is aimed at faith organisations seeking to align their values and their investment policies, providing a framework for doing so.
EVENTS & GATHERINGS
One of FaithInvest's key goals in its Strategic Plan 20223-25 is to 'Play a central role in building a broad-based, well-coordinated Faith-Consistent Investing Movement'. As part of that goal, we convene 'highly valued spaces where the FCI Movement can come together for meaningful conversation and dialogue around relevant topics'.
In October 2022, we did just that with our Bold Plans and Faith-Consistent Investing conference in London. Check out our report on our 2022 Bold Plans event via the link below.
