This week we look back at our posts from the first half of 2025.

Many of the 26 posts that we shared in the first six months of the year featured news and information about investments and tools for faith-based investors. For example:

  • 'Faith-based investment in microfinance: creating impact while generating returns', posted in February.

  • A blended finance primer in three parts culminating in April.

  • 'Community development financial institutions (CDFIs): bridging financial gaps in underserved communities', also in April.

  • 'Sustainability reporting and why it has become essential for faith-consistent investing', in June.

We provided updates on major trends, as in the post 'Europe leads in sustainable investing, with 85% of global sustainable funds', in March.

We focused our first FCI Forum of the year on shareholder engagement and dedicated multiple posts to it:

Our second FCI Forum, which focused on Catholic Social Teaching, was featured as a post in June; it offered a wide-ranging analysis of what is needed to develop a fit-for-purpose Catholic investing ecosystem and included video replay.

We also gave the FCI Interest Group a first look 'pre-publication' of our latest report Faith-Consistent Investing: Challenging the Performance Penalty Myth, and provided a practical tool for faith-based asset owners to more effectively engage with portfolio advisors:
